Neonatal Collaborative
The Maryland Patient Safety Center invited all hospitals with Level II and Level III nurseries in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia to join its Neonatal Collaborative. Participation is free of charge but requires a commitment of staff time and executive support. This initiative is being supported by a generous grant from CareFirst® BlueCross® Blue Shield®.
Participating hospital teams will work toward the aim of the Neonatal Collaborative:
- Reduce healthcare-associated infection through the implementation of evidence-based preventive care practices
