MPSC Convenes Successful Third Annual Patient Safety Conference
Over 1,300 Providers Learn Strategies for Keeping Maryland Patients Safe
More than 1,300 healthcare professionals from Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. participated in the Third Annual Maryland Patient Safety Conference held in Baltimore on March 23.
The keynote address, The Power of Apology, presented by Lucian Leape, MD, Adjunct Professor of Health Policy at Harvard who is nationally recognized as the father of the modern patient safety movement, kicked off this day-long program that included 23 sessions focused on patient safety topics.
